How DO you benefit from

our service!

I'm Steve, the Founder of Smart Refund Services. The process by which your funds have been handed over as "uncovered" or "unclaimed" funds are usually as follows: A Company, Organisation, or any person due to death, liquidation, forgetfulness or neglect will leave money in an institution whether it be a Bank, Insurance, or Investment Company, or a variety of Government Offices etc. A letter or cheque would be sent to the rightful owner by the instutition regarding the funds at their last known address. If this letter does not reach you for whatever reason, or if you do not respond or request a refund from the institution holding your money, it is then transferred to a trust account (non-interest bearing) remains until claimed by its rightful owner. If this does not occur within a certain time frame that money get's obsorved into general government revenue.

Most people and organisations we contact are intially very surprised when told they have a sum of money owing to them, "surely we'd remember" most say!

Smart Refund Services specialise in the Refund and refunding of lost monies, returning it to its rightful owners. At Smart Refund Services we are seriously commited to putting money back into the pockets of fellow Australians and Australian businesses

As your partner in lost funds, we work hard to contact you and assist you with your claim process. We reach out to companies and individuals who we believe have monies owed to them and whom we believe we can assist in reuniting with their lost funds. In most cases, people are unaware that these funds are missing, let alone lost so it can be a wonderful surprise to find out that they have outstanding money owing to them that they didn’t even know was outstanding or unclaimed.

How Is My Money Returned?

We require at least 100 points if ID first to verify the claim for lost monies owing. We then prepare an authority to release so we can get started.

We liaise with the various holding authorities to ensure the full release of all outstanding monies. This process may require further information from you further down the track to ensure these funds are released quickly and effectively

Once we locate the lost funds and the funds are released, we normally forward the refunded monies within 6-9 weeks after recieving all the correct claims documentation.
